Role: Remittance Auditor for Banks

As a Remittance Auditor for a bank, your primary responsibility is to ensure accuracy and compliance in the processing of remittance transactions. Your role involves meticulously reviewing remittance activities, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Transaction Review:
Conduct thorough audits of remittance transactions, including wire transfers, ACH transfers, and other electronic fund transfers.
Verify the accuracy of transaction details, such as beneficiary information, account numbers, amounts, and transaction codes.
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions.
Review customer identification documentation and transaction records to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
Risk Assessment:
Assess risks associated with remittance activities and identify potential areas of vulnerability or exposure to fraud or compliance violations.
Implement controls and procedures to mitigate risks and strengthen the bank's remittance processing operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed audit documentation, including audit findings, observations, and corrective actions taken.
