Position Overview:
We are hiring a Fixed Assets Accountant to manage the accurate accounting of fixed assets, ensuring proper classification, componentization, and compliance with regulatory requirements in the capitalization process.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Assets Classification:

Classify and record fixed assets according to accounting standards.Categorize assets based on nature, use, and longevity.Maintain an updated fixed assets register.

Componentization of Assets: Implement a componentization process to track individual components and their useful lives within complex assets.Collaborate with departments to identify and monitor significant components.
Capitalization Process:

Oversee the capitalization process, ensuring regulatory compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for accurate capitalization.Conduct periodic reviews to assess ongoing appropriateness of capitalization criteria.Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on changes in fixed assets accounting regulations.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and provide audit documentation.

Asset Evaluation:Regularly evaluate fixed assets for impairment or changes in fair value.
Collaborate with valuation experts for accurate assessments.
